Daily more than 22 phone calls about orders and availability

Did you know that growers and buyers spend almost 2 hours a day on the phone and have more than 22 phone conversations with each other daily about orders and availability? At peak times, some companies have as many as 90 to 100 calls a day about this. Around 260 growers and buyers indicated this in a survey we recently distributed to Floriday users.

To communicate with each other about orders, WhatsApp and e-mail are also used very regularly. Growers and buyers process almost about 40 emails a day on order-related topics. Buyers have an average of 9 one-to-one conversations via WhatsApp with growers daily and are part of an average of 4 different group conversations on WhatsApp.

Questions about orders, availability and offers

Growers and buyers regularly indicate that they would like to be able to send more information in their mutual contact. Floriday can be of value in this. In fact, a lot of communication is about things that can be found on Floriday. For example questions about orders, product availability, offers and corrections to orders. For example, buyers regularly ask for more information about products: "My phone gallery is full of screenshots from Floriday. I send these photos when I have a question about a product."

Send the right information directly

We want to ensure that the provision of information through Floriday is even more efficient. In the survey, we asked, among other things, how Floriday can improve communication between grower and buyer. Floriday users said they would like to have more opportunities to communicate to easily exchange photos or articles or chat with each other about corrections, for example. Personal contact between the grower and buyer remains essential, but can be made a lot easier by sending the right information along immediately. We want to see if we can add this from Floriday.
