Floriday expert Marieke | 5 tips to get the most out of Floriday as a buyer

In this blog, we ask Marieke, implementation consultant for Floriday users, about the best tips to get the most out of Floriday as a buyer.

Tips for buyers

1. Make connections and expand your network

If you are looking for more growers to order from, then make connections with growers you want to do business with through Match & Connect. This makes doing business even more personal. Once assigned to a price group with the grower, it is easy to start ordering items from that grower. We explain in detail how to manage your Network in the Helpcenter.

When building valuable connections, it is important for buyers to introduce themselves properly to growers. This will be their first impression and the grower will get to know you well. So make sure your profile is complete. Useful, because we provide relevant grower suggestions for building your network based on this information. 

2. Manage your range in Explorer

A grower's full list of items can be found in Explorer. By working with a selected range, you can mark items as favourites to complete your software package or webshop. This creates a specific range and gives you a clear overview of the products. You can also filter by selected range in Explorer and quickly find what you are looking for. Find out how to label items and how to set a preferred photo and/or preferred delivery configuration, for example.

3. Saving filter sets in Explorer

Besides managing your range, you can also use saved filters in Explorer. If you use a certain set of filters on an everyday basis, then you can save it and work by selecting filter sets. This saves time. Tip: give filter sets a name so you can clearly distinguish between different ones. Find out more about setting up filter sets here.

Extra tip! Save your Preferences in Settings

By saving your Preferences correctly in Settings, you can set Floriday up how you want it. For example, did you realise you can save your default selected delivery configuration in Explorer? This saves clicks every single day. Find out more about setting preferences here.

4. Working with contracts

In Floriday, you can record long-term agreements using contracts. This involves, for example, agreements covering a fixed price or quantity. Appointments you set up will show up directly in Floriday. This is convenient for both parties as either can cancel the call. Find out how to set up a contract here.

5. Do you only buy at auction? Enable clock mode

Do you only buy at auction? If so, you can now enable clock mode. This means you will only see features relevant to using auction functions and buying clock pre-sales stock. Find out how to enable auction mode here.
