Main release August 2021
Growers and buyers who work with their own software package and are linked to Floriday receive a new update twice a year. Also referred to as "release". On 12 August 2021, the first update was made available to software suppliers and their growers and buyers. This update includes new functionalities in Floriday that have previously been tested and have now been declared stable for rollout. The next update is scheduled for May 2022; from August 2021 Floriday will start the design phase of this update together with the software suppliers.

Influence on prioritisation
The meeting also determined the prioritisation of technical functions for the May 2022 update. To this end, a voting process has been developed wherein software suppliers can influence the prioritisation of the functions to be included in the API link. Software suppliers can also indicate whether they want to participate in the design phase of certain functions (“alpha phase”) or whether they prefer to wait for a more stable version of the (“beta phase”) function and then develop and roll it out to their customers.
More information:
In the coming weeks, users of the API link will be informed about the above process in several ways. In the Help Centre you can find an overview of the API releases that can be used as from 12 August. This provides more clarity on which functions are included in the updates. Information about the various functionalities and associated planning is also included in the roadmap, and on the Floriday website you can find out which modules are supported by the various software suppliers.
