Easier searching and assortment management with Trade Item Explorer

Buyers who compose their assortment need a good overview of all the available trade items and the supply. That is why last year, we released the first version of the digital catalogue in Floriday. Thanks to feedback from buyers, we have developed it further over the past months. From now on, buyers can use the ‘Trade Item Explorer’ in Floriday to search for (new) growers and products when composing their assortment.

With the search options, the Trade Item Explorer makes it easier for buyers to compose their assortment via Floriday. In the Trade Item Explorer, you will find, among other things, trade items for drawing up (retail) contracts, filling your webshop, making quotes for your customers and creating table plans. You can also manage trade item information (trade item names, preferred packaging configurations and photos) and transfer it to your webshop.

Detailed selection

As a buyer, extensive filtering options make selecting the right trade items easy. You can search for certain colors, new trade items and themes. For example, if you’re looking for ‘Valentine’s Day’ items, you can search for trade items that match this theme and add them to the quote for your customer. You can also issue a request with a grower straight from the Trade Item Explorer.

Trade item information for your webshop

You can manage your trade item information for your own use with assortment management. You can edit your item name, preferred packaging configurations and preferred photo in order to subsequently transfer that, for example, to your own webshop. Buyers who used FloraXchange for this option can now work directly in Floriday.

Please note: If you want to use assortment management in Floriday instead of FloraXchange now, our support team can convert this manually for you. In time, you will be able to easily transfer all your trade items from FloraXchange to Floriday.  

Under development: Direct ordering via the Explorer

The next step in developing the Trade Item Explorer is adding the ‘Direct Explorer’. That can be used to order directly from current supply as opposed to just searching for trade item availability. The Direct Explorer will allow you to use quick searches to easily fill in your open orders.
