Are you as a buyer curious about the availability of trade items from certain growers? In Floriday, you can place requests for quotations on supply or on the trade items that the grower has in its catalogue. With the Trade item explorer, which is recently available in Floriday, buyers can now easily make this request after composing their assortment. This can be useful, for example, when you are putting together (retail) contracts or creating table plans for a garden centre.
How does it work?
Through a request, you can ask the grower whether certain products are available within a certain period and at what price. The grower receives the request on his dashboard in Floriday, evaluates it and answers it. After accepting the request, a customer-specific offer is immediately created in Floriday. The buyer must then accept this for the sake of completeness.
What has been improved recently?
A number of improvements were recently implemented for growers and buyers:
- Growers and buyers have direct insight into the received or sent requests for quotes through the requests for quotes overview.
- Buyers can now also specify a delivery period and a price per trade item when making a request.
- Growers can now immediately see whether an offer has already been created for this trade item. You can then click on this in order to send it immediately.
- It is now also possible for growers to partially accept the request. Furthermore, growers can make a comment if a request or part of the request is refused. That way, as a buyer, you know where you stand.
