More and more growers are discovering the updated auction functionality in Floriday and are trying it out. And they’re doing so for good reason because thanks to the updated on-screen auction functionality in Floriday, you can now create an auction delivery in just a few steps. Another great feature is its flexibility – as a grower, you can amend the specifications of an item or correct the auction delivery quickly if something has gone wrong, saving you a LOT of time!
Increased speed and convenience
To work even more quickly and easily, we recommend adjusting a number of settings when you first get started. Follow these five tips to make sure you’re working in the most efficient way from now on!
When creating an auction delivery for the first time, the important thing is to activate the renewed auction functionality by clicking on ‘activate’ in the pop-up window. You can also do this by activating the ‘updated auction functionality’ via Settings > system > personalisation.
Tip 1. Standard dispatch and auction location
Set your standard dispatch location and auction location via Settings > preferences. This will save you 4 steps every day.
Tip 2. Auction combinations more frequently using templates
Do you auction combinations of trade items on a regular basis? If so, you can click on ‘Save as template’. Your choice will then be saved and you can select it quickly next time by clicking on ‘template’.
Tip 3. Mixed lots
If, in addition to this form, you need more delivery forms for a mixed lot, click on ‘Add form’. That way, you can create all of your forms, the form numbers will be in consecutive order and you can then print and send everything in one go.
Tip 4. Printing
Do you want to print the form first, before finally submitting it? If so, click on ‘Delivery form’.
Tip 5. Hidden functions
A number of functions are hidden as standard, but you can activate them if you need to in connection with your auction delivery. For example, go to ‘Settings > Preferences’ to activate comments, the minimum auction price (withdrawal), the service code, the sorting order and the packaging unit settings.
