In Floriday it is now already possible to calculate transport costs, distributed over all the orders within a delivery. From 1 July, this will also be possible for orders via FloraXchange, FloraMondo, VMP and via the API. Our updated auction functionality has been in full use for several weeks now, with approximately 70% of all delivery notes now being drawn up using it. On the 5th of August , the updated General Terms & Conditions Floriday and Privacy Statement Floriday were published. When logging in to Floriday users initially had to accept these General Terms & Conditions immediately. Several users indicated to be unpleasantly surprised and to feel forced to accept the updated Terms & Conditions without being given the time to understand the adjustments properly. For this reason, we changed this immediately and now users have until the 1st of October to read and accept the updated Terms and Conditions. Together with software suppliers, we are working on 'version management of the API link' or 'API release management'. By working in this way, we are responding to a frequently voiced request from the software suppliers. The aim of this is more transparency, predictability, consultation and stability regarding the link between the software packages and Floriday. From now on it's possible to work with countdown stock within 'catalog prices' in the Floriday screens. This new functionality allows you to have the numbers of available trade items count down when a buyer orders the trade item. This way you can never order more than is available. You can also have multiple trade items from the same stock counted down, which makes it easier to manage your stock through Floriday.
In recent months, growers have provided input on improvements for the auction function in Floriday. The aim of these improvements is to ensure that the function becomes simpler more user-friendly for growers who make use of this in Floriday. With this update, we want to show you already which possibilities the auction function will offer soon. The improvement will be visible in the Floriday screens at the beginning of July.

In mid-April, Floriday made an interactive roadmap available within the platform containing all the development points and ideas for the platform. Over 3,000 votes have since been cast on the submitted requests and the development schedule. Over 500 growers and buyers have submitted a request. In the floriculture industry, a lot of work is done on the basis of contracts. These contracts set out long-term agreements between grower and buyer. A buyer wants to record these agreements in advance, so that the buyer is sure to have the right items at the right time. A grower can adjust the cultivation to this and has the certainty that the agreed quantities will be purchased. This is because there’s an obligation to purchase if the agreements are laid down in a contract.
In February, the end date of 100% Digital was suspended after feedback from the market on the Floriday platform and its implementation. On the advice of the Members' Council, dozens of sessions with agents, growers, buyers and software suppliers have been held over the past few weeks to find out how we can improve Floriday. And it was discussed which functionalities are needed to be able to work with the platform. We will actively work with this feedback. We will therefore look together at what is a feasible end date. An end date for 100% Digital has therefore not yet been set and the Connect-EAB will continue to exist for the time being.
